The Clash solves a problem most control frames cannot: it bends noticeably through contact while staying stable, so you get the comfort of a flexible racket without the vague, muted feel that usually comes with one. At 295g unstrung and seven points head-light, the 100 is the balanced middle of the line — enough mass to hold up against pace, light enough to swing freely late in a third set. The 24.5mm flat beam and 16x19 pattern give it a soft, forgiving launch that suits players coming off a stiffer frame, or anyone whose elbow and shoulder have opinions about stiff rackets.
